There is a report on the Boston Globe’s breaking news that the Lawrence City Clerk failed to sign, date and stamp the original petition papers given to the petition leaders at the official beginning of the 30-day process to recall Mayor William Lantigua. Lawyers assisting the “It’s Your Right” recall group have advised the group that all the signatures are invalid due to this oversight and that they can begin the process all over again.
