Lowell’s Quinlan Shows at Whistler House
June Wulff of the Boston Globe tells us today that “you can go home again” as she notes that Joe Quinlan has done just that with his photo exhibit currently showing for the month of December at Lowell’s Whistler House Museum of Art.
There are two shows at the Whistler House Museum of Art, one is “Back Central in Black & White, Inside & Out,’’ a photography exhibit by Joe Quinlan. The Lowell native, known for his shots of old factories, storefronts, urban scenes, and railroads, has commented that this show recalls his childhood travels to visit his grandmother and aunt at his father’s boyhood home…”
Lowell-born photographer Joe Quinlan is known in another life as a highly-regarded, award-winning prosecutor. The former AP reporter turned lawyer worked for more than two decades as a prosecutor in Middlesex, Hampden and Franklin counties before coming to Worcester in 2007. Thanks for posting this about my brother’s photo exhibit. Joe has accomplished so much in his careers, from journalism, to law to photography. It’s exciting to see what Joe has produced. Hope the exhibit is seen by many.
