This coming Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at 5:30pm at Moloney Hall, University Crossing, 220 Pawtucket Street in Lowell, the UMass Lowell Saab Center for Portuguese Studies will present a program and talk with filmaker Christian de Rezendes on “Portuguese Connections: Documentary Filmmaking on History and Culture.”

Selected portions of de Rezendes’ award-winning documentary, “Slatersville: America’s First Mill Village” highlighting Lowell-Slatersville connections will be featured in the talk.

The program is free and open to the public.
