Romney Says OWS Protests Are Divisive
Boston.com is reporting that GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney criticized “Wall Street” protesters in NYC and elsewhere for acting in a way that is dividing the country. Read the bulletin here, and get the Globe if you want more. I wonder if he thinks the Tea Party protests were divisive?
Now it’s “dividing the country”! It wasn’t dividing the country when he set up shell corporations in the Cayman Islands so that his investors with Bain Capital could avoid US taxes.

It’s like the old “class warfare” claim – only war when the oppressed fight back.

Dear Mr Mitty:
Boo hoo, boo hoo – try losing your job, having your home foreclosed on (in your case which three?), having to choose between medicine and rent and finishing college $75K in debt and then perhaps you can grow a sensitivity gene – oh but wait, your money engine Bain Capital made its mark selling firms out from under workers and communities so why would you say anything else. The news would be when any Rep candidate for president actually got a clue about the suffering abroad in the land.
