According to “breaking news” on the Eagle Tribune website – “Leaders of a group trying to recall Mayor William Lantigua turned in 5,500 signatures seeking the mayor’s ouster to City Hall today, just barely beating the 5,232 mandated minimum. Organizers of the recall effort “It’s Your Right” say volunteers will continue to collect signatures until the 5 p.m. deadline.”
