Tony gets amazing color for night shots using a surpringly small camera – I assumed he was using an SLR for this! These must be done with a tripod, but are they edited on the computer later?

I use a Nikon 5700 nicked-named, “Magic.” I dropped it a while back so that certain functions such as the flash no longer work. I use a tripod for almost all of the night shots and some of the ones taken at dusk. I try to “compose” in the moment but I often crop the image later. I try to keep the enhancement in photoshop to the minimum of removing dust spots and lightening or sharpening.
