Presidential Preference Poll

Even though the Caller ID said “Unknown Caller” the other night, I still picked up the phone and was greeted by an automated survey, purportedly conducted by “the College Republicans.” It began simply: who would you vote for if the 2012 presidential election were held today?

  • Mitt Romney
  • Mike Huckabee
  • Newt Gingrich
  • Sarah Palin
  • Barrack Obama

When I answered Obama, the survey came to a rapid conclusion with an invitation to call an 800 number if I wished to not receive any additional phone calls of this type.  I found the call amusing and perplexing – why the college Republicans would be calling this house escapes me.

    Demographics.  A college age student.

    You didn’t pick Sarah?  Where is the fun for the next two years if people don’t pick Sarah?

    Frankly, I didn’t see a “winner” in the list.  But, time will tell.
