Who and Why? Suspicious Device at JFK Federal Building
A breaking news story from the Globe’s MetroDesk, claims that a UMass Lowell professor visiting the office of U.S. Senator Scott Brown at the JFK Federal Building had a suspicious device thought to be a bomb. Apparently, it wasn’t a bomb. Surely, there will be more information about this visit and visitor very soon.

Authorities have concluded there is no threat at the John F. Kennedy Building, a federal office tower in downtown Boston evacuated this afternoon due to concerns about a suspicious object on the site.
According to police, a UMass Lowell professor visiting US Sen. Scott Brown’s office tried to bring a device into the building that security officials deemed suspicious. However, authorities said, the device was not an bomb.
Both the Boston police bomb squad and fire department responded to the building on New Sudbury Street, next to Boston City Hall, police said.
