One Lowell World Cup 2010

An annual World Cup-style soccer tournament aimed at fostering better relationships among Massachusetts immigrant groups is set to begin next month in Lowell and is expanding to include 20 teams…

ONE Lowell started the annual competition four years ago as a way to bring the area’s diverse immigrant groups together. The event draws immigrants from around the state.

The One Lowell games will be held on August 1st, 7th and 8th with teams representing:

  • Northern Ireland/Scotland

  • Honduras

  • Canada
