Today’s Boston Globe features seven New England minor league baseball parks. About LeLacheur Park and the Lowell Spinners,  Globe writer Craig Forde says:

An instant hit once the gates swung open in 1998, LeLacheur Park ran a sell-out streak of 413 games from 1999 to 2010. Home to the Short Season Single-A Spinners, they are the closest affiliated farm team of the Boston Red Sox, allowing a place for the rabid fan base to see future Sox stars begin their careers. From the in-game action to the non-stop buzz of activity and entertainment throughout the park and between innings, no one walks away from a LeLacheur experience disappointed.
