The City of Lowell Hunger/ Homeless Commission once again celebrates Hunger/Homeless Awareness Month

October is Hunger Homeless Awareness month and every year our community comes together to provide a range of activities to raise funds and awareness of hunger and homelessness in our community 

19th Annual Awards Breakfast

honoring those within our community that are

“Helping Kids in Need” 

Tuesday, October 4 – 7:30am

East End Club, W 4th St. Lowell, MA.

The 2011 honorees are:  George Duncan (Enterprise Bank), Dan O’Connor (Department of Transitional Assistance), Beth Kidd (Place of Promise) and Ernie & Jeanette Weinschenk (Central Food Ministries).

Tickets –  $20 per person – may be purchased in advance or at the door.
