First Congregational Church

Tomorrow’s Lowell walk will be led by Dave McKean and Rosemary Noon. The topic will be churches of Lowell. We will visit St. Anne’s and St. Patrick’s, inside and out and also learn about the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, The First Congregational Church (now known as Smith Baker Center) and the Second Universalist Church (which once stood on the parking lot of Athenian Corner.

The walk will begin at 10 am at Lowell National Park Visitor Center, 246 Market Street, and will last approximately 90 minutes. It is free and requires no advance registration.

The walk will be conducted even if it rains, so bring an umbrella if there’s a threat of precipitation.
