Boott Mills
I’ve always wondered about the wooden walkways and bridges between sections of mill buildings. Were they intentionally built on the slant to accommodate rolling materials from place to place? Or is the casual look a result of trying to connect two buildings that weren’t necessarily built to be connected? With the what appear to be bricked up window openings behind the first and second bridge, it looks like these were an addition to the original building, probably to make it more efficient to move from building to building.
