Get your walking shoes, cowboy boots, sneakers, brogans, flip-flops, loafers, boat shoes, sandals, Doc Martens, slippers, whatever makes your feet happy—get them ready for this Saturday at 10 AM outside the National Park Visitor Center, 246 Market Street. Free parking is available in the NPS lot with entrance at Broadway and Dutton streets.
Jay Mason will be the guide for “Green Lowell,” an exploration of places (buildings, business operations, etc) that aspire to Green-ness, the goodness that is environmentally sound.
No reservation needed. Show up for the 90-minute tour through downtown. Stick around after and grab a bite to eat downtown. Plenty of restaurants, long-standing and newcomers, to choose from.
Here’s the schedule for the remainder of the season.
