Student photo exhibit at Zeitgeist Gallery

The Lowell High Compass Program Photography group has an exhibit up at Zeitgeist Gallery located at 167 Market St, Lowell, MA 01852 (formerly Olive That and More). The exhibit will be there until Monday June 16th. Items are available for purchase and all proceeds will go towards purchasing new cameras. The Photo group also still has their Portraits of Lowell exhibit up at the Boott Mills. This will hanging through July. If you are unable to get to either exhibit check them out online HERE.

The Compass Program is an after school opportunity for 9th grade students at Lowell High School. The program began in 2011 and operates throughout the school year at the Freshman Academy at Lowell High School. The summer session operates at the Stoklosa Middles School during the month of July. The Compass Program is 21st Century Learning Center that is funded by a 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) grant through the MA Department of Secondary Education. The purpose of the grant is to provide students with academic enrichment opportunities along with other activities designed to complement the students’ regular academic program.
