Twenty years ago, Peter S. Alexis and Henry Kucharzyk organized a museum exhibition at the Patrick J. Mogan Cultural Center (40 French St., near Boarding House Park) about two of the more fascinating people who lived in Lowell. Alexis and Kucharzyk were two among many people in the community who created short-run exhibits about aspects of Lowell history at the Mogan Center, which includes a permanent National Park Service museum exhibit about the social lives of the Lowell’s people called “Mill Girls and Immigrants.”
