Today’s Eagle-Tribune is reporting that former State Senator Jim Jajuga is among those who pulled papers for the fall 2013 Methuen City Council race. In our chat at State Senator Barry Finegold’s event last week, Jim certainly seemed primed and ready to return to the active, day-to-day politics of Methuen. In the E-T article, he noted:

“I want to get involved again,” said Jajuga yesterday. “I think I have a lot to offer, a lot of experience and a lot of connections at the state level that can be beneficial for Methuen.”

It looks be an interesting time in the municipal election races in our Merrimack Valley cities – Lowell, Lawrence, Methuen will be real political hot spots! Stay tuned.
