Brad Marchand TV commercial

I’ve been a lifelong fan of Boston’s professional sports teams, but my enthusiasm has its peaks and valleys. While I don’t consider myself a “front runner”, when teams are playing well, they are more interesting to watch. These days I’m very bullish on the Bruins, catching most of their games on NESN. One player who always grabs my attention is the third year winger Brad Marchand. He’s not the best player on the team, but he brings a lot of energy to the ice. He’s also the one most likely to provoke a player on the other team into committing a penalty. If Marchand is on the ice when there’s a scrum, he’s always in the middle of it, poking at his opponent in a way that even I find aggravating. If he were on another team, we would think him a villain, but since he’s a Bruin, we’re tolerant fans.

During a recent NESN broadcast I saw this commercial that features Marchand at his annoying best. It’s only 30 seconds, so if you haven’t seen it, it’s worth taking a look:
