Former Heavy Weigh Champion Joe Frazier passed away last Monday from Liver Cancer. We will all remember Frazier for his epic battles with Muhammad Ali…In this, the 15th round of the first fight between them, Frazier knocks Ali to the canvas for the first time in his career. This is arguably Smokin Joe’s greatest moment as a boxer.

    I can’t see the video here at work so I’m not sure it has the commentary over it. I saw a piece on espn about this fight- Ali was talking trash during the fight trying to get in Frazier’s head- “Go down.” “Go down.” “God wants you to go down.” Right before Frazier floored Ali he finally retorted “Well God’s gonna get his ass knocked out tonight.” and then BAM! That’s the third best boxing match I’ve ever seen With Hagler v. Hearns as #1 and the first Ward v. Gatti fight second.
