Tewksbury’s Ashley Sullivan, daughter of the late WBZ/Lowell Sun media star Paul Sullivan, won a spot on American Idol. In an appearance filled with charm and humor reminiscent of her late father, the charismatic Sullivan captured the attention and approval of judges Steven Tyler, Jennifer Lopez and Randy Jackson.

I met her when she was a cute little thing. Now she’s a cute adult thing. Somewhere, the old man’s smiling. Go get ’em girly!
You go, girl. I remember Ashley as a little tyke tramping through the Lowell Sun newsroom with her dad. Like Paul, she was blessed with the gift of gab and had talent a plenty. Great news!
Wow. You can’t help but rfemember Kerouac “The only ones for me are the mad ones…”
You have to admire anyone who is that full of life.
