Snow on the way
Here’s the local forecast for tomorrow night and Wednesday from the National Weather Service:
Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 30. Light north wind.
Tuesday Night: Snow, mainly after 2am. Patchy fog after 1am. Low around 23. Calm wind becoming north between 7 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%.
Wednesday: Snow. Patchy fog before 9am. High near 31. Blustery, with a north wind between 13 and 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%.
Wednesday Night: A chance of snow, mainly before 2am. Cloudy, with a low around 22. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
Also, on New England Cable News (NECN) morning meteorologist Danielle Niles, who is a 2006 graduate of UMass Lowell and who was the captain of the school’s women’s varsity soccer team, just displayed a map putting us in a 12-inches of snow zone for Wednesday morning. I guess winter is not over yet.
