Antje Duvekot at Kerouac Festival, Oct. 1

Poet and folksinger Antje Duvekot, winner of the Boston Music Award for Outstanding Folk Act of the Year, will perform in the Urban Village Artist Series (UVAS) at the Jack Kerouac Literary Festival on Friday, Oct. 1, at 8.30 pm at the Old Court at the corner of Middle and Central streets.
Also on the bill are poet-essayist-writer Andrew Schelling, who teaches at the Kerouac Writing School at Naropa Institute in Boulder, Colo., and Lowell’s own Samkhann Khoeun, editor and translator of the extraordinary book of poetry “O! Maha Mount Dangrek” by the late Cambodian refugee and Buddhist monk Venerable Ly Van Aggadibo.
