Following are highlights of the upcoming Franco-American Week in Lowell:

Sat., June 19, 7.30 pm–Johnny Morin Band at the Centralville Social Club, Lakeview Ave., Lowell

Sun., June 20, 9 am–French-language Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, East Merrimack Street, Lowell, following by presentation of Franco-American of the Year and breakfast in the church hall

Mon., June 21, films at 2 p.m, 5 p.m. & 7 p.m–Festival du Film  Quebecois, UMass Lowell, Lydon Library Media Center, One Univ. Ave. (“Le violin rouge/The Red Violin” (drama/romance, rated R),  “Les doigts croche/Sticky Fingers” (comedy), and “Ma tante Aline/My Aunt Aline” (comedy)

Tues., June 22, 7 pm–French Heritage Night presentation by Kevin Roy, Franco-American School, Pawtucket St., Lowell (tracing the routes of French heritage and faith from Europe to Canada to New England)

Wed., June 23, 4.30 pm–Ham-and-bean supper, Immaculate Conception School hall, East Merrimack St., Lowell

Thurs., June 24, 9.15 am–Memorial ceremony at Little Canada Monument, Aiken St., Lowell (opposite UMass Lowell Recreation Center); 10 am–Flag-raising at Lowell City Hall; 7 pm–Prayer service to honor St. Jean Baptiste at Franco-American School, Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto, Pawtucket St., Lowell, followed by wine-and-cheese social

Sat., June 26, 6 pm–Musician Josee Vachon at the Lowell Senior Center, Fletcher St., Lowell (free admission)
