New Post on Apples, Art and Spirit Blog
Linda Hoffman has two new posts on her Apples, Art, and Spirit blog.
In “The Sermon of the Blue Heron” Linda deftly captures this time of year – halfway between spring and fall, with early flowers a distant memory and fruit trees only just reaching harvest time. (Or as I mentioned elsewhere, our CSA vegetable box is mostly cucumbers and squash, too late for lettuce and too early for big tomatoes and corn). Linda also tracks the activity of a Blue Heron around the farm, and comments on the insufficient rainfall we have had this season.
In an earlier post, “What’s the Buzz?”, Linda deconstruct honey, which is created, processed and sold on her farm, and provides an introductory biology course on the lives of honey bees.
