I have known Rick Barry, the Director of Camp 40 Acres in Wilmington for many years. He is a dedicated teacher and a great asset to the children of Wilmington.

Camp 40 Acres is a private, non-profit facility which was donated for the youth of Wilmington and the surrounding communities. For more than 50 years, the upkeep of the camp has been overseen by a volunteer Board of Directors, and income has come from donations and the minimal fees charged to the users of the facility.The money generated by this program will be used to upgrade the camp’s property, and insure its availability to local children well into the 21st century

Sounds like the staff at Camp 40 Acres provided children with another great summer…
