Howe is best register in state, deserves your vote

As a local real estate attorney and past president/current director of the state-wide real estate bar association (REBA), people in the community frequently ask me about Richard Howe, who is running for re-election as our register of deeds. The response is easy.

Richard is not only a hardworking, unselfish and knowledgeable register, he is the best register of deeds in the Commonwealth. He has unselfishly continually shared his knowledge, skills and energy statewide to improve the quality of services provided by all of the registries.

Richard deeply appreciates the importance of the recording systems and has protected the integrity of the systems. He understands the law and history behind the systems. Most homeowners never get to appreciate the importance what is happening behind the scenes and the Registry, but properly maintained records are the only way to prove the lawful owners of real estate.

We are very fortunate to have Richard as our register, and we need to re-elect him on Nov. 6.
