Middlesex County 4H Fair

Regular reader Mary G visited the Middlesex County 4H Fair in Westford, shared some pictures, and had this to say:

One thing that comes to mind when I attend the 4H Fair every year, is how impressed I am with the pride that these young contestants show for the animals they have so lovingly raised…. It’s great to see this county event so close to the city.

    This is a great weekend to get out and see the anmals in their Sunday Best!! They are all so well groomed, friendly animals, with their proud owners ready to talk about their pride and joy. There are competitions of all kind with lots to see for eveybody in the whole family. There are games, a hay ride, home meade goods for sale and even a clown.Lots of food and ice cream too! It is so close to the highway, plenty of parking, a shuttle bus that runs continiously and the entire event is very well run by volunteers. It does not cost much and it will all be gone in a day, so get out there and enjoy nature, it is well worth it.
