New Poem: Patrick Gentry Pierce

Friends in the Lowell cultural community will remember Patrick Gentry Pierce from his time in Lowell. His art studio on Middle Street helped create a buzz in the downtown cultural district for several years. This is his first appearance as a writer on this site. I have a good memory of gathering one evening with other writers and artists on the roof of his building for an informal reading and refreshments. In 2014, he relocated to Saco, Maine, at Two Diamond Artfarm, four acres of land with sculptures sharing the space with the birds and all the growing things.     Just watched the 10-minute documentary. Fabulous. I don’t know of anyone who speaks of the artistic process with greater clarity & excitement than Patrick.
