Benefit for Branch St fire victims this Friday
This Friday, August 22, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., a Benefit to assist the victims of the devastating fire that struck 77 Branch Street on July 10, 2014 will be held at the United Teen Equality Center (UTEC), 34 Hurd Street, Lowell, MA. The funds raised at the benefit will go directly to further assist those affected. Organizations involved include the Angkor Dance Troupe, Cambodian Mutual Assistance Association (CMAA), City of Lowell, Coalition for a Better Acre (CBA), Community Teamwork Inc. (CTI), Lowell Public Schools, United Teen Equality Center (UTEC) and the Wish Project. The event is open to the public and will include a performance by the Angkor Dance Troupe. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased online or at the door. Light refreshments and beer & wine will be served.
