Grab your video camera and fire up your imagination. The City of Lowell is sponsoring a “Promotional Spot Contest.” Your 15 second video should tell viewers why Lowell is a great place “to live, work and play.” The submission deadline is Jan. 18th, 2013, 5 pm and the winning entry will receive a $1000 prize. The contest rules are available on the COOL website.

In conjunction with the contest, LTC (at 246 Market St) is offering two free seminars on techniques that might be used to create the spots. The seminars are Saturday, December 15th at 11 am and Tuesday, December 18th at 5 pm.
