There may not be segregation of genders in the party, but they put too much emphasis IMO on gender balance. I say let the chips fall where they may rather than insisting on two of each DSC member per district and a male and female of each other category. I feel like we’re trying to fill Noah’s Ark! At very least for state conventions we should be allowed to fill left over seats designated for one gender with the other gender in order to get full represenation.
