Lowell Walks: Concord River Greenway

Walk begins at Lowell Cemetery Lawrence Street gate (opposite 1025 Lawrence Street). Led by Jane Calvin of Lowell Parks & Conservation Trust, this 90-minute walk will explore the Concord River Greenway from its Lawrence Street end (adjacent to Lowell Cemetery).  The walk will  include that section of the Greenway, the history of that corridor, and will include a visit to Centennial Island.  See where The Fighter was filmed and explore where the Greenway will go on the island and see the hydro station at the northern end.
