Lowell City of Lights Parade

Ring in the holidays in Lowell and join us for City of Lights 2017!
Take the afternoon to stroll downtown Lowell streets and enjoy the fun, as we celebrate the season! From kids activities and live performances to holiday shopping, photos with Santa, AND the crowd favorite, the Annual Hot Chocolate Competition, City of Lights 2017 will make you feel merry.
The daytime fun leads to the nighttime extravaganza — The City of Lights Parade and City Hall Lighting — which marks the City’s official start to the holiday season!

We’re excited to announce Mr. Dave Heller, owner of the Lowell Spinners as this years Grand Marshal.
Parade beginns at 4.30pm
Family Fun at City of Lights:
2 to 5pm Photos with Santa at JFK Plaza
2 – 5pm Pony Rides and Petting Zoo at JFK Plaza
1 & 2pm Bob Riordan’s Magic Show
2 to 5pm Holiday Art Exploratory
1 to 7pm Holiday Craft Market @ Lucy Larcom Park
2 to 4.30pm Holiday Songs and Singalongs at JFK Plaza
Festivities include:

1 – 3pm Strolling Carolers throughout Downtown
12 – 5pm Holly Jolly Trolley
10 – 1pm Children’s Shopping Day at the Pollard Library
