Kerouac Corner Dedication at Pollard Library
March 7, 2015 @ 3:00 am - 4:00 pm
Please join us this Saturday, March 7th at 3pm as we celebrate Jack Kerouac’s birthday by dedicating a reading corner on the first floor of the library in his memory. This is the same corner he wrote about reading encyclopedias in the morning sunlight in his book Vanity of Duluoz. Next to the corner the library will be housing a substantial collection of American poetry donated by local writer and poet Paul Marion. Did I mention there will be birthday cake in the ground floor meeting room following the ceremony? Be there or be square.
