Who Is Joe the Plumber?

Will the real Joe the Plumber please stand up?…
In last night’s debate between John McCain and Barack Obama, McCain worked overtime to glorify a real, live person he called “Joe the Plumber”. McCain brought Joe up as an example of small entrepreneurs in America that would be stymied under an Obama administration.
But who is Joe the Plumber?
This from FOX News…
Joe Wurzelbacher of Holland Ohio might be the most famous plumber in the country after confronting the Democrat earlier this week when Obama was canvassing his neighborhood. Wurzelbacher, who is about to purchase a small business that nets more than $250,000/year- the magic number at which Obama will increase taxes-asked Obama why after working hard for so many years he should be taxed.
But this morning additional reports are leaking out about the true identity of Joe the Plumber…this from Martin Eisenstadt’s Blog (Eisenstadt is a conservative blogger and senior fellow at Harding Institue for Freedom and Democracy)…
John McCain did great tonight in the debate. But every time John mentioned Joe the Plumber some of us in the campaign banged our heads against the wall… If Steve Schmidt had any hair left, I hear he would have been pulling it out tonight. He reportedly screamed at John’s debate team tonight (out of earshot of reporters, of course)…”You idiots-he’s related to Charles Keating…of the Keating Five scandal!”… Turns out that Joe Wurzelbacher from the Toldeo event is a close relative of Robert Wurzelbacher of Milford Ohio. Who’s Robert Wurzelbacher? Only Charles Keating’s son in law and the former senior Vice President of American Continental, the parent company of the infamous Lincoln Savings and Loan.
Who is Joe the Plumber? I think he was a McCain plant…What do you think?

Joe Wurzelbacker is having his fifteen minutes of fame and on a morning show today he stated that he is still unwilling to declare for a candidate. Just an ordinary guy showing up at a rally. As I watched him speak I swear I observed those green tentacles from his workboots reaching down to the ground. Very reminicent of ordinary household plants. And if you believe that he was just an interested guy accidently given a chance to question Obama, then I have a bridge to nowhere for sale. Any takers?
Sen. McCain cannot relate to Joe the Plumber. Sen. McCain has 9 homes and condos,13 cars and 1 private jet.
This country is in two wars and is a trillion dollors in debt. It does not matter who the president is ,they will have to raise taxes. If you want to fight wars you have to learn that the people have to make sacrifices on the home front.
Joe the plumber should be happy to pay the extra taxes if he is lucky enough to clear over $250,000 each year.
Excerpt from 1992 article:
“The guilty plea today was from Robert M. Wurzelbacher Jr., who had been a senior vice president of Lincoln’s parent company, the American Continental Corporation of Phoenix, and the chief executive of an investment firm owned by Lincoln Savings. Mr. Wurzelbacher, who is 38 years old, is married to the former Elizabeth Keating, one of Mr. Keating’s daughters.”
How many Wurzelbachers are there?

Under Obama’s plan, we would have more money in our pockets so that we could hire Joe Buttcrack to fix our pipes. If this was a Mc Cain plant, he failed to explain how Buttcrack would benefit under his proposal.
Mea culpa, mea culpa. I was wrong. Joe was just a big mouth giving his two cents worth to a candidate he more than likely doesn’t support and all hell broke loose. Hope he’s able to get the taxes paid that he owes before his “boss” fires him for turning the spotlight on his company. I’m sure that the building inspector is now reviewing all past work done to make sure there was no “unlicensed” activity going on. Moral of the story, If you see a national candidate with hundreds of media surrounding him/her do not engage him in conversation unless what you have to say can not be readily dis proved. Poor Joe!
If you think robocalling is bad, I see in this YouTube video that McCain’s campaign is outsourcing their calls to India! I guess that’s what you have to do when you can’t find enough “real Americans” to be your volunteers. This is a pretty hysterical behind-the-scenes look at the McCain campaign through the eyes of Martin Eisenstadt (the guy who ‘leaked’ that Joe “the Plumber” was linked to Charles Keating):

Joe should be allowed to have his dream. However, since he is $210,000 from being affected by any Obama tax-hikes, he should keep quiet.
Aspiration is all fine and well but you have to live in today.
It will be harder to get hired on as a non-licensed worker, any money paid under the table- it will be hard for the man to find work.
Joe can vote for whomever he wants, but it’s inane to act as though a tax plan that won’t affect you is your principle motivation.
As far as the dream- get a license first.
