Buonomo Arrested

All of the local major news outlets are reporting on the arrest of Middlesex County Register of Probate John Buonomo. This is the picture from the WHDH News Website, with its caption. The video report available from WCVB News is even more shocking.
WOBURN, Mass. — Prosecutors say the Middlesex County Register of Probate John Buonomo has been arrested on charges he stole thousands of dollars from copy and cash machines at the Registry of Deeds (WHDH News).
Buonomo was a long-time member of the Somerville Board of Alderman, and he narrowly lost two races for Mayor, to Mike Capuano in 1989 and to Dorothy Kelly Gay in 1999. At one time, he was considered part of the ‘progressive’ wing of Somerville politics.
This man must be a total freaking idiot throwing his job and pension away for a handful of dollar bills. I watched it twice and each time, he appears to be looking right into the camera. Whatta maroon.
